MRE’s experience in with solar car park structures didn’t end with the VA clinic. In 2019, through the competitive bid process, MRE was award a 160KW solar car park structure solar project with the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation (CHCC). Like with the VA Clinic on Guam, this system is the first of its kind in the CNMI. Now, patience and employees of CHCC can park under the solar arrays and come out to a much cooler vehicle when finished in the facility. MRE completed the installation of this system on time and without incident. MRE is in the design stage of another solar parking structure on Guam for the Federal government. Construction on this system will begin in Q4 2020.

In October 2017, MRE along with GMH broke ground on the hospital’s “Rooftop Solar” project. MRE was selected amongst a field of five other Guam solar companies. With its experience in building healthcare facility solar energy systems, the GMH solar project was a perfect fit for MRE. Outside of the Guam Power Authority, this is the Government of Guam's 'first go' at large-scale solar energy, making this 100KW solar energy system a very high-profile project. This project was completed in December 2017.
